Winter’s Eve

Love the holidays? Love ALL the holidays? Then you should know about the beautiful children’s book Winter’s Eve: Love and Lights, by Lisa Sferlazza Johnson and Tucker Johnson, the authors of All Hallow’s Eve: The Story of the Halloween Fairy and Christmas Eve: The Joy of Giving. It’s a beautiful book that talks about what all the winter festivals of light have in common. From Hannukah to Christmas, Dwali to Kwanza, (and several more, too!), each holiday is introduced to even the youngest reader. My four year old is fascinated, and we’ve read this several times already.
