On That Day, Everybody Ate

On That Day, Everybody Ate is the moving story of Margaret Trost’s outreach to children in Haiti.  A simple trip turned into a foundation, a food program, tuition for schools, and a summer camp — and not just any summer camp.  This one serves 450 children in Port-au-Prince.  The tuition is for 200 girls and boys.  The foundation feeds children over 5000 meals — every week.

That’s a lot more than I cook.

This is an incredible story, and an incredible book.  It just became available, and my friends and I are reading it together, to see just what one woman can do.
