Sir Ryan’s Quest, by Jason Deeble, is one of our absolute favorite books these days. In it, a little boy, probably four years old, has incredible adventures equipped with the simplest of toys: A pot, a lid, and a yardstick. He scales the great mountain, perseveres through a deep, dark jungle, and ventures beyond the castle gates. He has great adventures, equipped only with the power of his imagination, and simple toys.
That’s my kind of kid.
I bought this book for my boys, the bravest little knights I know, and I thought you might enjoy hearing about it. I was not compensated in any way for this post.
